About Me

Working as a systemic counselor and therapist was not initially predetermined for me.

My studies in the humanities and social sciences and my subsequent work in international development cooperation first sent me out into the world:

I went from Maastricht via Tel Aviv to Amsterdam.

I then spent three years in Sri Lanka and India.

My work abroad, traveling and yoga teacher training triggered a strong inner process and growth in me. I also had to learn to deal with change and loss.

As a result, I realigned my professional career and my inner compass.

Today I support people in their personal development and am very passionate about this work.

My Approach

If we want to understand where we're headed, we need to know where we come from.

I believe that it's important to understand and process past experiences, as they influence our present and future. However, my approach also focuses on being solution-oriented and forward-looking. Together, we'll explore the paths you want to steer your future towards. I'm convinced that you already hold within you everything you're searching for. You are the expert of your own life, and I offer my hand to help you navigate rough patches and support you in finding clarity again.

How I Work

By my side, I have an array of methods from systemic work, mindfulness techniques, meditation, and somatic exercises. This holistic approach stems from a deep belief and the latest scientific insights that the body stores heavy experiences and emotions, and that there's a connection between our body, mind, and behavior . Through creative methods from systemic approaches, we can better understand our situation and our place within the framework (system) and regain our agency. Simple body-oriented exercises can help our nervous system cope better with stress and intense emotions (self-regulation). I combine both approaches based on your needs.

I create a space characterized by calmness, interest, and mindfulness, where you feel seen and heard. You decide which topics you want to focus on, whether you want to make changes or not.

I look forward to getting to know you!
