About Systemic Therapy
The systemic counselling/therapy aims to assist in coping with crises, solving problems, and finding new perspectives. It doesn't claim to provide curative healing but contributes to self-help and self-care.
The systemic perspective originates from family therapy and views psychological problems and symptoms as outcomes of conflictual relationship patterns. Its goal is to help individuals recognize, understand, and actively change these patterns. It promotes their autonomy and self-efficacy and expands their possibilities for perception and action.
Systemic counselling/therapy is attentive to the context of the individuals seeking help. The approach is respectful and based on the understanding that the client is the
expert of their own life.
